Hello Alan, If the bike has been stored for a while the plates may be stuck together or the clutch rod which goes through the shaft could be stuck as well. Attached the badges with the ARIEL badge bezel-which has two lugs on the underside/back to attach the badge to the front shield. Hello, Attached a picture with measures of the front stand. It's one I made for my Leader - it's a copy of the original but using metric tubing. The end of the tubes and the 30 cm mark on the tape all line up with the gap in the table top. If you get no reply re the badges I'll send pictures of them...
