Thanks Adrie, I'll give her a short ride today to see how it works. It was easier to fit it to the drive side, We could do it without removing anything.

Adrie suggested to me an idea to get some oil up to the guides. Reroute the crankcase breather up the side of the engine through a tee with two small copper pipes blowing onto the guides. Cheers Alan for your help :D

I've made a small box on the side to carry with me an oil can to keep my valve guides oiled, they've previously suffered a bit.
It still ran though :oops:

They are solid rubber I think, how about heating up a bit to soften, and plenty grease to help it slip in
