Just remembered!!! they are both the exactly the same size except of course for the clutch cable hole.

I'm back home Pete and forgot to look at my dismantled plates but I did just have a look at the plates on my Cylone and like you say they both do look the same except for a hole for the clutch cable. I will though have a look tomorrow. If my brain allows me!!

Maybe a series of mirrors through the primary chain inspection hole might do it. Maybe not! :D I've done that with wood and clear PVC , It didn't work, so much oil is in there you can't see anything. Hi Bret. I had a look at the trispark set up but that looks as though its for unit twins that don't have mags fitted.

The good thing about the thorspark unit is that just sniffs electric. I had mine going for 100 miles on 8AA batteries

I have fitted a thorspark to my huntmaster but this system retains the mag and auto advance, you just take the points and cam ring out and replace it with an electric bit! I hid the twinspark coil under the tank. I did have the coil behind the tool box but the AA man said it can get very wet there!!...

I have a set of dismantled plates Pete back in my workshop, but I'm in Ireland till Tuesday. I'll let you know then if no one else can help.
