I can highly recommend the combination of the mini hydraulic conversion mated with a brembo master cylinder, with mintex linings.

The slight downside being that it can be a little snatchy at low speed.

I believe John Ellis (two stroke spares) has some fibreglass ones if you are really stuck. Plus they don’t rust!

Steve, speak to Ben Mitchell (the one who was at the rally), I believe that he may have one going, but that’s only because as we were coming off the ferry, he had a nice looking original one attached to the luggage on his square four!

I run 26psi in the front and 28psi in the rear, on a swinging arm VH. I weigh 13 and a half stone

Yeah, I have one of those on the single, used them on other bikes too. They are absolutely fine, but you have t9 take care not to overtorque them or they snap.

I run a 22t engine sprocket, I can comfortably cruise at 60-65, gets a bit vibey at 70-75, but perfectly manageable. I generally don’t spend sustained time above 75. I’ve had several back from tony with the spring washer. Personally I have never been happy with the thread engagement if the washer is present, so I leave them off.
