Re: Aomcc Agm 2020 cancelled

Thanks Dave,

I'm expecting the LDR to be cancelled / postponed, but haven't seen anything about it yet. Is there any news ??

The whole country is heading for lockdown  .

Re: rear brake anchor?1958

I was discussing brake lining material with Lester Grant (who has made batches of TLS brakes for the full-width hubs). Lester told me he had changed the lining material on the later brakes and I should contact: Brake Re-Line Services, Unit C2, West Point Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, Cardiff, CF1...

Re: rear brake anchor?1958

The rear brake on the '57 VB I used to own would 'snatch' badly in damp weather (is there any other type in Britain ?). It seems to be a common phenomenon.

Strangely, I haven't encountered it with my current '58 VH. Maybe a change of lining material would help :? .

Re: SpAriel MkII aka The Hermanator

Just what I need for next month's LDR ;) .

The Touratech mount I have is just too small and fussy so I have bought a tank bag with a map pocket on top. The problem is, I probably won't be able to read it with my vari-focal lenses  .

Re: The Motorcycle: Design ~ Art ~ Desire

Hmmm, Bad choice of words on my part - I expected the owners to get them back after the event.

I guess Insurance is a bit of a nightmare  .

Are the British "National Motorcycle Museum" and the "Sammy Miller Museum" on your list ??
