Re: A new club meeting.

Count me in Lee.
I went to the Dog last Wednesday lunchtime and met 6 west mid members and had a nice chat and something to eat. I will be returning 3rd Wednesday lunchtime every month.

Re: Ariel moving day.

They look fantastic Lee. Hope you have lots of fun wearing them out in the future. You must pop over to Hinckley on them in the spring and have a look at what I am playing with.

Re: Fitting swing arm to frame

Thanks Paul and Steve. The swing are has the bushes in but did not come out of the frame I am using. I will have measure over the bushes and the inner part of the frame where it fits. Fitting swing arm to frame

Hi Folks
Is there a special way to fit the swing arm to the frame. The arm has the bush in it but no matter how I approach it it won't go in. The frame and swing arm are not damaged. Any help would be appreciated.

I had my VH frame, guards tanks and all the painted bits powder coated in the late 1970's and it still looks good. I suppose it depends on who does it and what they put on first.

I suppose in the distant past (I can't remember, been to sleep...

Re: 1957 VH Front brake shoes.

When I got my VH in the 1970's it still had original linings and it was a good brake. I could never repeat this eventually I used a 1970's Japanese front wheel with twin leading shoes and its fine now.

Re: Difference between TT BTH and regular BTH Magneto

Hi Brett I sold the business in 2011 to Peter who calls it BTH Components now. At that time I retired and although I did some design work the year after I no longer have any input in what is now Peters business. So I don't know if he is developing anything down that road. I would have certainly expl...
