Ariel Owners MotorCycle Club - Privacy policy

This policy explains in detail how “Ariel Owners MotorCycle Club” along with its affiliated companies (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Ariel Owners MotorCycle Club”, “http://forum.arielownersmcc.co.uk”) and phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Limited”, “phpBB Teams”) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter “your information”).

Your information is collected via two ways. Firstly, by browsing “Ariel Owners MotorCycle Club” will cause the phpBB software to create a number of cookies, which are small text files that are downloaded on to your computer’s web browser temporary files. The first two cookies just contain a user identifier (hereinafter “user-id”) and an anonymous session identifier (hereinafter “session-id”), automatically assigned to you by the phpBB software. - Your username, which we jointly agree is acceptable (see below)
- Your IP address. A label assigned to each device connected to a computer network. This information may be used to provide your approximate geo-location, but your identity and specific location is held by your ISP (Internet Service Provider - i.e. BT) and not this forum.

Your information will NOT be disclosed to ANY third party without your consent, it will NOT be used to provide direct, or indirect, marketing of goods nor Services to you.

While both “Ariel Owners MotorCycle Club” and phpBB shall endeavour to take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your data, we cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
There is a forum mail service available, should you opt to use it. The messages are neither visible nor recoverable by the “Ariel Owners MotorCycle Club”.

You have the right of access to your stored information, with regards to provision, removal or alteration, as well as to request removal of your posts onto the forum. This maybe requested via Webmaster@arielownersmcc.co.uk
You may opt into providing your forum mail or email address, within the forum, as well as alerts on new or "watched" topics. This is at your discretion and is not managed by the “Ariel Owners MotorCycle Club” via the forum.
