Careful Adrie, 'Reserve not met' !
I wonder just how high that reserve is - he's certainly talking it up as much as he can.
Pity Mr Reaney can't be bothered to check his spelling.....

Like mr. Reaney we all like a good prise when we are selling, no one would give this motorcycle away for 15.000 pounds these days.

I assume that that is Rob Reaney - VMCC Chairman and proponent of the `VMCC should sell old bikes' proposal. Not sure I agree with his thinking.

What is this "vmcc should sell old bikes" ?

I am guessing a money making scheme of some sort ?

Yes. Very much so. A group of people in the committee want to lead the VMCC further down a commercial route. I am greatly opposed to this policy.

But the good news is that his plan to unilaterally spend Mrs.Cobbing's bequest on new premises for the VMCC (and Dronfield Classics?) has been well and truly squashed by all accounts. If you really want to know what he wants for this lovely outfit have a look on Carandclassic.com where he has it advertised as a classified ad. along with the 'Classic Scrambler' he supposedly sold on eBay a couple of weeks ago!
