Much as I love Ariels, this is wishful thinking in both cases, I think.

I'm not going to get rich quickly.

But then even if I did sell up, what would I ride then? :lol:

Look closer at the carburettor and the saddle fixings/springs and then wonder why it has a slack-wire
magdyno. Don't worry about the timing cover having 'NG' rather than 'NH' - aren't all Ariels
Red Hunters?

Abut the only thing to admire about it is the vendor's optimism.

For all that money they did not bother to polish the side covers, chrome speedo ring, or dull plate the oil lines.
+ 'orrible repro altette and exhaust cooling rings and clips on oil lines.
No boot over clutch arm but a harmonica rubber seal over speedo cable (that takes the scenic route) liberated from kitchen utensil.
Ball end levers in 1949 ? mis-matched manettes.
But it looks okay when you pass by in a hurry and have more money then sense I suppose.

Never seen a float bowl operate at that angle - maybe a hill climb special?
