If it is Graham's remember it on an Irish National Rally in the early 80's. The Irish was a fairly demanding week's Rally and Graham didn't do big Rallies at the time. We were taking bets on whether such an exotic bike would manage the first day. In fact it never missed a beat all week.

Hi Paul, the VG 32 looks very nice and original.
But isn't the requested price to high in your opinion?
Or may it seems to me because the £ is too strong compared to the € change?

price is a personal thing, no one likes being ripped off, but if you want it and have the money, why not? I know what he paid for it from Holland plus shipping and he did not make a huge profit and the dealer has not put a huge mark up on it considering his overheads. My personal worry would be the four valve head, which are prone to cracking and they are not exactly plentiful ! I'm also not sure the carburettor is correct as the petrol balance pipe has been crudely altered to get around carb. Having said that, it went extremely well, shame he had to sell them both, I know he didn't want to. He needed a quick sale other wise I guess he would have put it on this site.

The speedometer does not work - obviously not correct and that'swhy not connected. Have anyone seen a VG32 or VH32 with working speedometer? What type Smiths must be there?

No, this is Type PN. I have tried such speedo (KPN - with additional Km-Scale) and it shows Hayabusa-like speed for my Ariel.
