This is what google translate made of it

HT 5 with a high motor 600 SV.
This gives a special coupling and softness.
The aluminum components give the vehicle a special production quality.
Mechanical improvements date back to the late 60s.
The engine is equipped with a coil of Lucas Racing, which is found in the Grand Prix engines of this period.
Frame number bb 1991 / engine number 31700
All controls are perfect and they start as a Swiss clockwork.
The aluminum tank HT original.
This is a unique opportunity to purchase this original engine, so that you can participate in the competition of engines 'to 65'.
You can try the bike in Seine-et-Marne near Disneyland Paris.

Unregistered vehicle, no registration.

This vehicle can be inspected and picked up in Quincy Voisins (77), France.

Special coupling and softness?, must be Ariel washing powder :D

I rather like that 8-) .

The VB engine must make it a supreme 'mud plugger'.

(I'd still prefer a genuine HT though  ).

Years ago there was often an HT at the Hampshire Branch Trials and it was fitted with a JAP sidevalve from a railway staion tractor. You know - the ones which pulled the luggage around. . At those Trials there was a bike on each section and you just walked from section to section and rode what was there. I remember the HT hybrid being very pleasant to ride.

its my old bike that i built in 1991 hence my initials and year in the frame number.i made a frame jig from a standard ht and made a pair of frames one was standard and went to the states/canada as a semi finished project and was collected by the great jeff smith for a friend of his. the other frame was shortened top and down tubes to lift the engine up to increase the ground clearance, engine plates, air cleaner, silencer, chain guards, brake plates etc were all made in aluminium.
the bike had a white butler seat mudguard /tank unit which has been changed, the bike went quite well ,but the steering was heavy and inclined to tuck in on sharp turns as the weight was up high,or thats my excuse for my lack of ability!!
i originaly fitted it with an arrow clutch which it soon knackered up and when i mentioned it to sammy miller at the talmag he said he could of told me that cause he tried it years ago! regards philip butcher p/s sold it for£1500 in 1998

Special coupling and softness. I wouldn't have expected that from an old trials bike! Sounds like it could get you into trouble.
cheers

Just a thought- I can't see an oil tank on this bike. Is the oil in the frame?
