Did the guy just shut his eyes and point the spray gun vaguely near the bike? that green paint is everywhere!

Looks like top money for a less-than-perfect W/NG to me.

In black it was 5450,- euro, in green it now is 6950,-euro

here it is in a older ad, they forgot to remove it, they wil now as they are also looking at this forum.

A friend of mine was a despatch rider in the army. He told me that when they resprayed a bike it was pretty conclusive - everything - saddles, exhaust systems, footrests, tyres etc. They weren't that bothered - just didn't want them to go rusty.

We should remember that. All the ones that appear at our local 40's weekend are immaculately restored.

Still, well painted or not, there's room for one in my shed. The Bantam ought to be worried...

I was told that when they were in the desert ,they would throw sand onto the wet paint to try and make sure they blended into the background.
