Rigid square project for sale

I am looking for a rigid square but this ones just not for me this time as not really after another project,

An interesting project, given that the factory records suggest that the engine was last heard of heading for China in 1937 !!!

Looking at the picture of the engine number the first two letters are bigger than the rest, and there is possibly a ghost mark under them. Could it be that it has been overstamped?
Ariel Square 4 mk2, Ariel Colt, Matchless G12, BSA C12. Room for one more......

The stamping - large letters and smaller numerals is exactly the same as that on my 1936 Square so I think the stamping is original. It was definitely an export bike so there is some history somewhere as to how it came back home again. As in most of these cases, we shall probably never know the answer.
