Yes, that's looking great!
Unfortunately money is drying up, so for me out of reach.
Hope I can finish my project within reasonable time and not will loose interest...
Knowing myself I'am not a very patient person when it comes to projects!

Gentlemen,
I bought this bike.
I saw it for sale accidently and as it was only 30 min from where I live I couldn't resist having a look.
After haggling a bit I did buy and took it home.
I have not owned an Ariel previously, having had BSA, Honda, BMW and until recently a Bonneville.
I thought I was finished with Bikes until I witnessed an annual run of old bikes through west Cork (Ireland) in August and was re-bitten!
I will probably need some guidance so I joined this club the other day.
I think it has not run since the early 2000's so I have a bit of a job ahead.
Will keep you posted
John

Thanks Vincent.
I will attack the project in earnest at Christmas as I'm going away until then.
Just put in a bid on ebay for a sprung pillion seat, we'll see?

Yes Paul, I hope so,
I took all the tin off and used a bit of elbow grease to clean it up a bit.
I have stripped the rust from the tin and primed it so will get that painted.
Is there a particular paint code for the black colour?
John

PS
How do I attach a photo?

If you make it a bit smaller in 'Paint' (reduce size) it wil stand up right.
It looks very good! congratulations !
