Interesting project, if you are not in a hurry. I wonder howmuch it will cost to get this one (dependable) on the road. ;)

Is that including a set of newly made conrods, pistons, (morgo) pump, electronic ignition, valves, guides, main bushes, bigend shells, powder coating, paint/spray work, wheels, etc. etc etc.? Lets say you can pick this project for 3000 and add 5000 to restore it, that will make a total of GBP 8000... I can't find SQ for that price! So that would not be a bad purchase...

All that list except rods, pistons and e-ignition. I've tracked my costs very accurately and am surprised, but I reckon my spend is more or less equivalent to the bike's value.

It's a bargain when you consider all the fun!

There is a lot of that bike missing. No kickstart shaft or gearchange shaft. Is there actually anything in the gearbox?
The front crankshaft is missing, enlarge the area around the missing crank end cap. New bolts course thread are holding the engine in the frame, so the engine or part of it has been fitted in the frame to make it look good. No nuts holding the cylinder down and a broken fin. No carburettor. Probably no pistons, conrods or cranks. The clutch lever is not connected so is there a clutch and primary transmission at all. No speedo, no exhausts, rear mudguard is rusted out, front mudguard has dubious repairs. I would say a frame with an engine shell and a gearbox shell. Greatly overpriced.

You will end up much higher if counting petrol and jumble fee, in some cases 8000 pounds.

Your looking at £6000 to £7000 plus purchase cost. Chrome plating alone will cost around £1300.00 to £1400.00.
To much work for me hope the above helps. Keith
