SU MC2 Dashpot and piston?

Postby StewartPorter » Wed Mar 20, 2019 1:31 pm

Having (hopefully) got my dizzy sorted out, I'm moving on to the carb for my Mkll project. ...
Ive got a body, float chamber and manifold adapter sorted but am in need of all other bits, particularly dashpot and piston.
Condition irrelevant as long as serviceable.
Many thanks
Stewart

Vielen dank, Rudy. Ive been examining SU data sheets all day. Im wondering if the piston and chamber fro an old MGA or similar might be a possible alternative...
Love your collection of bikes and cars. You seem to like a Corvette!

I have most of a carb available, including dashpot and piston but you will have to wait till I have put my own carb together for the miscellaneous other bits.

Shiny new bits arrived this morning. Made in Britain in the 50's - transported to the USA then re-imported back here. Maybe the best travelled carb body that never had a sniff of petrol!
