Leader engine mounts

Postby Anthony Woolhead » Sat May 11, 2019 5:27 pm

I'm removing the engine from my Leader for complete restoration. There seems to be a problem removing the bolt behind the gearbox which holds the swingarm. This also appears to double as an engine mount. The bolt is moving but with considerable resistance. Am I about to break something? The other end of the bolt appears to be behind the primary chaincase and does the centre stand have to be removed? Thanks in advance guys, any help much appreciated.

Cheers, Tony.

Do not forget to unscrew the 1/4" unc bolt from the primary chaincase first, its screws into the end of the swinging arm bolt,Flatlander

Thanks for your reply Roger, now I can get on with stripping the motor.
