1956 HS Frame Number

Postby Greg.Pawson » Fri May 19, 2017 12:21 am

Hi my HS is currently in transit , and I need to confirm the frame number and only going off the pics forwarded to me.
I want to quote the correct frame number so I don't create any confusion with customs.
I have emailed Bob Prosser for conformation and a dating Cert from the dispatch records , which is great and I can wait for.
But I'm running out of time with my shipping agent.
I have the title for the bike but the penmanship is not that clear, come to think of it I will attach it to this post, it will be safe on here.

Looking at the Frame number on the title ( PRS 157 ) or is it PRS 159....?

Any help will be very appreciated.

Regards Greg

It's PRS 157 and MH 167 wich is correct for 1956.

It should have a reversed oilsystem (toolbox-oiltank-airfilter) and maybe a "over the footrest" brakepaddle.

All parts in the pictures are good.

This is even more special about this HS Racer, the 10 Trophies that the original owner Gene Johnson won with this bike

Once I get the bike and parts home, ill research into it, the seller said he had added a book or diary
in with the parts.
I got to see a close up of one trophy, 1st place Indiana state Championship 1957
I have the riders racing leathers and helmet also.
