This looks like a very fine machine and I will be interested to see what you think of it on the road.
When I was a student, which is a while ago now, one of the lads in the Motorcycle Club had a Tri-Ar, which was a 500cc Triumph engine in an Ariel single sided hub swinging arm frame. Sadly, he had an incident on a roundabout which resulted in him in hospital for some time and considerable damage to the bike. He kept the engine but gave me the remains of the rolling chassis for spares. I rebuilt it the easy way by fitting a 500cc single Ariel engine to what was a typical cafe racer style bike of the 1970s.
It was on the road until about 15 years or so ago so probably still exists. Does anyone have FHD 31G ?
