pulling to the left

Postby davi.haysom » Tue Apr 07, 2020 6:40 pm

I have had this problem for 30 years, I have rebuilt the wheels twice and made sure the wheels are spot on with the centre line of the bike and in line with each other. But still the problem exist. any ideas or is this normal.

If your frame is straight it might be the front I had a similar thing with a harley that had been attached to a sidecar for a long time after straightning the front forks the problem was solved

Hi, have you checked the plunger springs ? The chain side spring gets more grief due to the torque pulling on the top chain line which tries to lift only the left plunger .

Are you sitting comfortably??

My late father covered a lot of miles on various bikes, but when following him he always appeared to be sitting to one side - I can't now remember which. Whether that was to counter a tendency of the machine I doubt.
