1930 Model A

Here's the new baby, just delivered from a VMCC member near Dundee it's a matching numbers 1930 Model A, which left the factory with that chrome tank.

It's a classic barn find/basket case, most bits present but no fasteners. I'll get some better pictures this afternoon and no, the front wheel is not distorted!
cheers

HI Simes that is a nice looking Ariel if it was me i would just get it running and make it road worthy and leave it as it is, and ride it 8-) i like to keep them as they are now, after years of spending a lot of time and money rebuilding them :!:

It will be a collect, repair and make safe job for the moment. The tank is excellent and the frame paint looks OK but there is quite a lot of welding on the mudguards and primary case.

I love the patinated look so I won't be painting anything unnecessarily. I'll probably put the black back on the tank though.

A very nice project, i don't think a model A had a chrome tank, being the cheapest in the list.

The original front guard does not have a rib in the centre. Nev
