What sort of horn has it got James? Mine is missing and it may be that the original owner didn't order one.
cheers

The horn is missing - but the wire I there. I have an old photo that appears to show an electric horn - but can’t see what type.

Hmm - but that just tells us it was running hot at some stage in the last 91 years....

Where does the wire go? Do you think it was mounted on the handlebars, by the saddle mount or somewhere else?

On the front down tube of the frame by the look of this old picture - of course that might not have been original...

The horn looks like a Bosch one, these were common then, they do turn up from time to time on ebay, from around 60 quid up.I bought a centre stand a few months back so will try and find the details of the seller,I also have made one on my other 29. the silencer is slightly later early thirties, still useable though.the carb should be a flange type 6/112,it has a longish neck on it.I have an as found 29A,in use regular.

Beautiful bike. You will love it. The Ariel SV engine is a cracker - so tractable. A great bike to ride.
