Good job I wasn't reaching for the under arm deodorant !!

Back to Worthing this morning then back over to Basingstoke which again took me past Goodwood for my coffee and tea cake.
There was a starting grid of classic cars on the on the start line. My bike I think is older then all of them. They looked great in the autumn sunshine.

Loved those Lotus Cortinas especially when driven by Jim Clark with the inside front wheel waving in the air.....

It does a bit Vincent. I thought at first the yellow no 10 car was an Austin1100. But now I'm not so sure. It looks too narrow.

Austin A40 Farina, Steve!
They seem to like them quite a lot for the classic racing - yet another one of the cars which I would have thought of as 'grey porridge' at the time but turns out to have racing potential :)

Yes, I do remember them Simon.
Had to go back to a Data Center in Slough and sort out my covers that wouldn't fit. My customer told me they were all the same and actually he was correct. But fitted the opposite hand. It's not that I don't know to be carefully when someone says they are all the same!!
This place is very much like a prison. You first go through a gate that closes behind you then wait till the other gate opens in front. I’ve got to talk to smeone through a box on the fence post through all of this so It's all a bit tricky on a bike with helmet and earplugs in so I've got to cut the engine so I can hear the instructions. To avoid the embarrassment of it not starting on just push it through.
Just as I'd finished on the roof I looked down and saw my bike and took a pic.

My brother used to participate these Historic Races here in Finland.
This picture is from 1995 and that van was mine:

He also has Vauxhall VX 4/90.

Lovely looking Van. Eero.
I had a job at the Nationwide Building Society today in Swindon. It's a huge place, they must employ thousands there.

It was a very cold ride, although I managed to stay reasonably warm but arriving In the boiler house I found an ideal location to warm up my clothes, but as I was out getting us a coffee my poor worki colleagues got a fright. They thought I was still there :D

The ride up to Swindon along the A34 and M4 is about as boring as it could possibly be but coming home was the complete opposite. Absoultly gorgeous in the late autumn sunshine.

Thanks Steven, it was Fargo K160 1970 or Commer 2500 in U.K. and it was
school bus with 9 seats. "Racing" car is Opel Kadett Rallye 1100 with twin
carburator from 1967 and it is originally from Sweden. By the way Sweden chance
their side of traffic in 1967.
