Yep, I've just returned from jamming a new clog in the dyke as the old one started leaking :lol: :shock:
Slimmed down the ring and spotwelded it to the hub.
Now on to the spindle, Found out that the postwar QD hub arrangement uses two bearings, the prewar one has three bearings.
I am going to fit 3 bearings and make up a sleeve inside the hub part to keep them apart.
