1932...in that case :

Maybe the position of the stays is correct afterall ! but this drawing does not show the mudguard to be hinged.

- looked again, no, the Y stays do look like the later ones that belong to a hinged guard.

The rear gurard might not be hinged, but screwed together with 2 1/4" bolts.
