NG rim colour etc...

Postby Paul Slootheer » Sat Dec 07, 2019 3:27 pm

Working on my new 1946 NG project, I wonder how the immidiate post war models like this NG where executed colour wise. For example the rims, front brake plate etc. etc.? I know the petrol tank should be chrome and black, but do not have any idea about the rest of te bike like I said above...

Paul,
As Dave says:

Have a look at the sales brochures 1946 and '47 on the main website. The Square, VH and NH all state chromium rims with painted centres. No mention of chromium rims for NG, VG or VB so this suggests they were painted black.

Cheers
