Which oil pipes square four

Postby FletchBurton » Mon Jun 22, 2020 6:40 pm

Hi.
I know there is a thread about over oiling to the square four head.
I have a specific question not really covered there. My engine has a mk1 bottom end fitted with 4g iron barrels and head and morgo pump.
Which bore oil feed pipe should go to the head and which to the oil pressure gauge.
Any and all help gratefully received.
Fletch

For a 4G the larger bore pipe goes to the gauge, smaller bore to the rocker feed.

Correct statement from Pete, thank you! - but note such is ONLY true for the iron 4g - the ally Mk1 requirement is the large bore is the rocker feed.
