1950 NH Tail-lamp wiring route

I'm having trouble finding where the wiring harness goes to get to the tail-lamp-stop-lamp at the back of the flip-up fender on a 1950 NH rigid. Can someone give me some direction--i find photos on - line that show no wiring on top of the fender or on the sides of the fender or fender stays.

One of the RH stays has two tabs to keep the wire in place. There's also a disconnect device in the wire so you can lift the hinged part to extricate the wheel without it having to stretch the wire too much. I don't know what should be done with the stop lamp wire. Nev

On my SQ4, there are several small tabs just inside the lip of the mudguard to retain the wire.
