Re: Square Four tyre pressures?

I got recommendations from Wheel House Tyres for the Avon AM 26 tyres. They were 28psi solo and 30-32 psi two up. I generally regard 26psi as the absolute maximum pressure for an Ariel on AM26 tyres. More than that and I find it hops about the road like a rabbit on steroids, whether rigid or swinging arm. Perhaps that is a reflection of the fact that modern bikes tend to be a lot heavier than Ariels - or it may simply be a reflection on my riding style.

I'm using 25/30 psi I'm mine, on 7 year old Avon Speedmaster/SM Mk2. I have AM26 on my CX - I will be fitting these to the Mk1 next.
cheers
