Beste Vincent
here is a photo of the saddle I bought recently from the czech republic. Its identical to the saddle of my SF. Very good quality and good delivery service.
Regards Klaus

Pirelli ,Michelin and Dunlop all made rubber cords for expensive furniture.....and Dunlop also made rubber seats for motorcycles.....probably none have survived ,though.

I am trying to find out where these bits fit on a Ariel, if they are at all Ariel…
Large 'P' clamp has the typical 'WD' dull chrome on it and clamps to something that is 1-1/8" thick/wide, but it's not the down right hand side hollow bracket on rigid & plunger frames....
Anyone knows ? thanks.

Vincent, that looks like the clamp for the exhaust header that holds it to a lug on the frame. There should be two - left and right and they are on the bottom frame tubes towards the front.

The two bolts look like the ones for the rear mudguard. The one for the left side is where the rear stand spring hooks up to and also where the upper chain guard is bolted on.

Cheers
Gui

Thanks Gui,
P clamp; I thought so too but when fitted to a pipe there still is a gap of 23mm / 1 1/8" between the tongs .
On the offside the bracket/lug does not have that size and on the nearside the bracket is a 'U' shaped flat bit.
That wont work.
I am guessing now that it could be for a upswept pipe on the saddle spring bracket with the distance piece that goes under the spring in between the two tongs of this P clamp, just a wild guess…

the one in the middle looks like it, ...almost.
So it most likely is the one that fixes the downpipe to the frame, but it wont fit on my two rigid frames .
