My 1926 Ariel

Hello
here i post the progress of my 26 Ariel
We started only with the part you see in the picture

The rest is what we Collected in the Years
Frame,Fork,Tank,Front wheel, oil dipper ,

then comes the Saddle,magneto, Carburretor,Handelbar,Twist grip from Brown Barlow and the gear change assembly from Burman,Exhaust system

The that is curious ON Yesterdays in the Archive is Sold a time ago an 1926 Ariel with the same engine number like mine ,Can that anyone explain me

without the help from our friend Mike Taylour this bike wouldn´t stand like here on the pictures

i Know its still a lot of work but the Parts are rare to find.

Got a lot of good features Like OHV single port and a strong gearbox mount, Decent sized brakes. You will be impressed how good these OHV 500's go. Good luck with it . Nev

Could it be the same engine following an accident or theft in the past? It would be worth asking Yesterdays.nl how long ago they sold it. Or maybe someone has copied the engine number for some reason.

It looks like a great project. Black Ariels are lovely bikes to own and ride. Looking forward to restoring my 1928 Model B next year ( :oops: Rein Heerkens :oops: )
