Toolbox document holder

Postby alan.moore » Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:04 pm

Trying to keep busy, thought I'd make a document holder for the bottom toolbox. Here's a photo (pinched from Mr Holyfields website) of one

and one from Vincent:

I made a cardboard template that fitted into the flat part of the lid and then, using my stock of old desktop computer cases, I made up the holder using a couple of lengths of angle iron to do the initial bends and some 1/4" plate to form the second bend.
It was fixed to the lid with some very sticky, thin, foam, double sided tape.

I assume it was there to take the WNG 'Drivers handbook?'. I should have checked the size first!! as one I found on the internet said it was 144mm long and my 'slot' was only 125mm ;) . Still I've printed one off to fit :D .
