Chilly morning but lovely sunshine. My next job was canceled but luckily another came in at a Fire Station in Goldstone. Tea and toast at the Ace Cafe. What could be better.

Met a guy today near the A1 and A406 riding his big BMW bike. He asked me was I in the club, he used to do a few rallies and has a 350 NH, then the lights turned green and he was gone! Is that a metaphor for life?

Not sure if the nut policy applies to me!
Wet ride up to Wallingford but still thankful to be on a bike. The traffic around winchester would have me me late.

Had time for a coffee at fleet services this morning. Not sure if this sort of thing happens in other countries but these things now are in a lot of service stations here in the uk. Drive through coffee shops. Is it legal to drink a hot coffee and drive at the same time? Don't think it is. But why have service stations allowed these things to be built? Seems very popular judging by the queue of cars for the latte.

I was heading for Chertsey. It's another large house owned by an Arab Prince. Oh but I had a moment near the house with the icy road. I was doing 10mph tops. So I pulled over to let a few cars past, and as I did, well its hard to explain. Maybe one of the judges on strictly come ice dancing would have givin me a 7 for my Triple Axel. Ended up facing the other way in a small frozen ditch on the other side of the road but still upright. I had to spin the back wheel till it melted the ice so I could it get out. Whew.

The prince's gold plated loo was well needed when I arrived :D
Nice house,

Then it was off to Liphook and then to that roof job at Merial.

That will be the Triple Axle, not the gold plated toilet experience?

I'll get my coat.
cheers
