New Member seeks advice before purchase

Postby petecranwell » Tue Nov 19, 2019 7:15 pm

Hello all.
I have just joined the Forum as I'm looking to acquire a pre-war sporting single and a Red-Hunter is near the top of my list. I had been looking at the example that was for sale at the 'Classic Bike Emporium' which looked good and, at a not unreasonable price and had been for sale for a while. I was going to ask for any thoughts or opinions on this bike but it now seems to have sold. There's another example at 'Classic Bikes Sussex' that looks to be a far lesser bike for 50% more money. So, my question is now, does anyone know of a suitable bike for sale? Any help or assistance would be much appreciated. Many Thanks, Pete

The one in Sussex dusn't have; a 1500 pound speedo, no chrome on the tank, wrong timingdeck, wrong oiltank, wrong toolbox, wrong frontforks, 350 gearbox, and that's only a one side picture.

You have one other P.M.
