My customer in Poole says he could do with his job, so I say, does that mean I have to get on my bike and ride over to your place and deliver your mats in this glorious sunshine through the New Forest then? I hope it is essential work. No don't answer that, I'm gone :D

It was as it turns out, for a hospital.

If you send me a tracing I can cut / grind you a new one.
Easiest would be from a piece of normal mirror but that has no convex.
If you want a convex one I have to get hold of a used car mirror .

it also happend to my 2014 BMW R1200R spaceship, sold that damn bike

Cheers Vincent, but they are cheap plastic chrome mirrors, a new pair only costs 8 quid and I've pair already on order. But thanks. I'll save you for something more urgent :D :D

I've started a lockdown special leather box for WE.
First cut a pair of ends in thin ply.

The inside face is lined in thin leather. This picture shows the stitching right through the plywood.

On the inside sewn onto the plywood I make a small tool bag. The bag is stuck to the grey board to make it easy to sew to the plywood. I run around the edge of the grey board with the sewing machine set to a very small stitch and no thread in the needle. After the pocket is sewn on it makes it very easy to pull the card out

Sewing through the pocket through the lining and plywood.

Finished with a flap.

Not always sure what to do with the other inside face this time I've made the beer loop adjustable

I'm using some light aluminium sheet to stiffen the box this time rather then card I've used in the past.

It's very thin, I was able to cut it with a Stanley knife.

Corona beer bottles fit fine too

I've cut panels of thick leather and marked the hand sewing marks with a pricking iron. All simply stuckto the plywood and aluminium.

I've just a little sewing to do now. :D
