Got a pair of gas struts to hold up the lid.
First I mocked up something from some spare pipe the same size as the struts to work out the hole locations

I'm fitting two struts but one can hold it up, I will be a bit heavier after the tents is made.

My poor bike thinks there must be some sort of pandemic going on as I'm hardly riding her at all, :D

Finished off the shed, layed a floor and built a bench. Even got my sewing maching working all from my solar panels.

Things have got worse covid wise in Ireland so no more trips for the time being. Time now to finish off the camping trailer. :D

But back home and a ride with a couple of friends, this an appropriate place to stop. The Forest of Bere

Got out today in my Ariel. Had a job at the Royal Marsden hospital in Sutton near london. Shes going very well.
This virus hasn't anything good to say about itself except eating outside, everywhere that sells coffee has outside tables. Nice to ride up , park and enjoy cake and a hot drink.

I've had a day of it today for sure. Left home full of the Joy's of spring this morning. It didn't last long. First it rained then the signs on the motorway said the M25 was shut, just where I needed to be. I haven't seen such trafic on the back roads for ages. It was just one long line of lorries. My only luck was it was so bad it even managed to block the trafic from coming the other way. So just got through, .
Then my clutch felt a bit weird, like the cable was fraying, which of course it was. The new spare I had with me along with all the tools to solder a new one up I had with me. I put it all in my bag yesterday. Now that was very lucky.

My Job tomorrow is up in Grantham so I rode up this afternoon to stay overnight in a Hotel. All went well till my ampmeter told me the sorry tale of no charging. Again!! I fitted the AA batteries which kept going all the way, nearly 100miles. I'll get some more to get me home tomorrow
