CASE SCREWS

HI All is their a list or diagram to tell or show you witch length case screw and where it go in inner and outer primary chaincase on a 1954 NH 350 with a swinging arm drags list the lengths but not where they go :?: :? i have got a list of the gearbox screws and where they go but i can not find one for the chaincase :(

HI Simon where is list 15 if it is drags they just give the length of them and not where they go :?: :? thank you

I just poke a thin screwdriver in each hole and see how deep it is - main thing is that the screws don't bottom out. Doubles as a check for gunge in the bottom of the hole so I always do this even if I know which screw goes where.

Here is the diagram for the outer case, cannot find the one for the inner case. Would strongly advice that you wire lock the inner screw as shown, they have been known to come out and seriously damage the casings etc.
Drill 2 small holes in the raised boss around the hole and wire lock through the holes and the slot of the screw.

HI Brian that is what i was thinking this morning i will have to do like say this bike had all allen screws in it and half of them was not the right length i think he just put anything anywhere and that will do i can find listing of which size screw goes where for the engine and gearbox but not the chaincase :( :? thank you for your reply KEEP SAFE

HI John P I have just seen your post of where the case screws go that is very helpful now i can see wear they go and i will lock the case screw like you say i have seen that case screw work its way out and do a lot of damage thank you for your post it has been a great help :D :D and KEEP SAFE
