hi Dave , that is a small looking box and the clutch looks like it is each side of the sprocket maybe it is a two or three speed it maybe off a very old small Norton :?: it would be nice to see what it goes on :?:

I think it might be a GP box , but cant find out anymore.

If you look on Sheldons EMU ,there is a "components " section,pictures of dozens of Burman boxes.....doesnt tell you what they are off ,tho.........As mentioned ,simple sprocket clutch is an indicator the box is off a 250 size bike......A little bit unusual the pivot mount ,this was patented until 1941,and a box with pivot mount cost the extra royalty fee,but on the other hand ,mounting was simplified ,so maybe it evened out.

Panther used this type of lower adjusting mount, may be lightweight panther.
