Yes, a very Happy New Year to all and moon has been glorious with all the snow we have had.
Spent the day in the shop finishing off my Bullet 500 engine rebuild now for the 35 Red Hunter to take its place as I am looking forward to riding it this coming season .

A happy new year from me too.
2020 was a bad year for many but not for me infact it was one of my best years, the first 3 months motorcycling in spain, very quiet in the home village and ower beach, no airplane noise, i was abel to buy a big garage with summerhouse for a good prise and was doing it up for the rest of the year so no Ariel things.
The new year will start with selling Ariel spare parts and doing away with a yard old car books and a yard English motorcyclemagasines also building an extension to the summerhouse, lets hope that the vaccine dus it's work and we can start some normal life in september.

Happy New Year everyone - let's hope for some normality in 2021 (though, living in Scotland, I fear the 'Independence' debate will hot up again 
).
I spent yesterday modifying a four-jaw chuck to fit the rotary table under my Mill, then machined a distorted bronze points housing from a BTH 'TT' Mag so that the slip ring moves properly. I was successful - YEAH !
The 'TT' Mag is on a Trials 350 Enfield - do I see a pattern emerging from AOMCC Workshops ??

The Enfield competed in the 1962 SSDT where it was ridden by Eric MacNamara for the Edinburgh and District Motoring Club. It was number 190.
Hopefully lots of restored bikes will emerge from 'lockdown' all over the world

Hello Nev, the RE is an imported Indian model from ‘77 with 500 barrel. Very nice for doing the errands and running about town, otherwise mostly on the ‘56 VH or one of my many Nortons.
