Any recent recommendations for magneto overhauls in the UK please.
The mag on my NH was working when last used (obviously), but now is 'dead as a do-do'.
Christmas holiday plan out of the window, however it did mean that I could finish an 8 year complete restoration of this:

You may have oxidisation on the points due to long duration without use.
Give them a clean and try again.
If there is any moisture present blast it out with WD40
Clean the slip ring with paper towel.

Ottawa? Nice, I am in BC so that makes it easier already as I can stay with Canada Post. I have two spares I should have refurbished and returned to my stores as it has been nice to have them ready for change-out.

Anybody got knowledge or experience in using Old Iron Engineers as advertising in the back of this months edition of Cheval.

Got one in at Pembrokeshire Classics at the moment, I’ll report back on it . They do them for the team that look after the bikes at Brooklands.
