Bike magazines

Postby PeterW » Sun Apr 21, 2013 9:08 pm

I've bought a few old magazines on ebay lately. I reasoned that instead of waiting for a current mag to come out with a good article about a model I own I could just search for a mag that contained such an article - often contemporary - and a few days later I'd be reading it :¬)

Just got Classic Mechanics No6 from Winter 1984 (ok, not exactly contemporary) and its got a cracking "Service Notes" article on Ariel singles engines.

If you haven't looked before I reckon its well worth a go and while I'm about it I'd recommend "Pig Farmer Bike Mags" http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/pigfarmerbikemags - I've bought a few mags from them and the service has been great.

Cheers all.
Peter

I love the early `Classic Bike` mags, so much more to read and articles are more in depth
