The GN Ariel or 'KN IV' was covered quite well in the Cheval of June 1990 when John Gallie owned it, I don't know if it has appeared to the club since then, he was going to bring it to the following Annual Rally but I never heard if he actually did. It has since been rebodied and one engine at least had a con rod disregarded the presence of the crankcase while taking the alternative route home...
Hi Brenton As you might see this was my first post here and as such a new boy I won't start by posting car pictures on a bike forum, I'm sure they will come later! If you PM me with your email address I'll send you some pics, I have plenty of them but it's not everybody's cup of tea (or coffee!) I haven't owned a proper Squariel since the 60's and I wouldn't have raised my head above the parapet if Dave Thomas hadn't posted his pic.
Well it is Ariel related jadearling, I don't think I've been blackballed just yet!
The pic was taken by Martin Squires, he's in the bike press a lot lately as his excellent artwork is featured a lot. The Classic Bike writers have illustrations by him on their pages, of themselves and their bikes . Here's a link to the page on his site - Martin Squires Automotive Illustration- that carries more pics of the car and his sketches of the same ;
