Hello,
Has anyone tried to fit other parts from India? I bought magdyno contact breaker assembly
and it looks like that C-shape groove is too tight. Have to make another inspection some day.

On the subject of the Singles Spares tanks, they are not cheap. Peter suggested that I sit down before he told me!

I would have found the money somehow, anyway..................unfortunately my VH has the later speedo with the vertical passage through the tank for the cable, not the angled one. I really could not justify buying something only to have to mess around with it!!!

Hi everyone, I have personally been through a very long saga with a tank from India.
After much worrying I thought well it's worth a gamble. I purchased a panel tank for a 39 sq4 from India. It arrived quite promptly around a week or 2 later. Upon opening it I found it to be dented, not badly but I wasn't too pleased. After numerous emails of not quite arguments to India with suggestions of part refunds and remedies by myself which would have cost more than the new tank, I was persuaded to keep it. On closer inspection I then realised this tank seemed smaller than expected so it made its first journey from the house to the garage. Yes my concern was confirmed, this was more like the 500 tank rather than a sq4. So back on the net to India. I went through many hrs of back and forth to a company there which even suggested me sending pictures with a tape measure spread all over an "original" tank and they would custom make one!
I politely pointed out that their advert had sold me an identical reproduction of an original tank.
I was foolishly persuaded to part with a little more of my hard earned to cover postage etc and they had located an identical copy!
It has arrived in lovely condition and is a nice piece of kit bolts on as it should etc. however it has one major problem now!! It's to large in height and the handle bar mounts hit if I try and turn at all.
The cure for this I believe is to take around an inch off the bottom of the tank at the front to around 1/2 inch at the rear.
My conclusion,,,, never ever buy Indian !!!
