I was going over some papers from drags and it looks like (if I understand it properly ) this silencer is an option so I called drags (very helpful) and I was able to get a part number but drags only have the left one. so I will call Armours first thing on Monday

I dont think Armours have the right press tool to make these correctly. They used to use a modification of the BSA one.

The ones I am going with is not the same as listed on vintage replica but it is listed as an Ariel silencer on armours website and listed at 88.00

Thanks to James for the Lucas king of the road battery box. The battery box still has the battery in it can someone please tell me the best way to remove the battery witch is encased in tar

ITS alive
after taking some time off I got back to it the other day. Set the points and put some gas and oil in it and on the 3rd kick it came to life for the first time in 70 years ( its not pretty but it lives) :shock: :D
