I've been talking about too much. Just should do it :D

I'm back at my favorite garrage heading back to Cork.
Cheap coffee, a place to park under cover lovely views
Apparently prince Charles is making a visit so there might be some roads closed, I'd better check.

Steve,
Don't know why but I always think of Craggy Island when you say Bere Island!!!

Anyway, glad to see that you are still galavanting around - but don't overdo it ;)

I await your next post.

My flight back to Stanstead was on time and my bike was still where I'd left it so with a ride home of around two hours I should be home for 11. I made good time down as far as the the A1 then everything stops. I crawled through the traffic till I could see the blue lights. A serious accident had closed the M25 and ended up stuck for 1.5 hours . My center stand is normaly only used on motorways for electrical problems :D Anyway I got into the company of a lovely business guy who was in the car behind me. Turns out his dad was from Cork, so there we were two second generation Irish men who had never seen each other before talking like two long lost brothers, the time flew by, well it did for me! Hopefully no one was badly hurt in the accident, it's easy to forget somebody could be having a worse day then us.
Ohh, and just to delay me another 30 minutes the M3 was shut for resurfacing. The bit I didn't like about that though was the detour takes you down the old A33 South of Basingstoke and Deer!! I've had a near miss that down that road with one.

Got to get ready for the side valve rally now.

Surely Basingstoke & "Dean"? (And don't talk about deer - a couple of months ago one jumped out and did £1500's of damage to our car and caused no end of insurance grief!)
But keep up the diary of adventures! MikeN.

On our way, just one slight problem, my electronic ignition fell out.

This is where I was 2 years ago when I picked up my Black 54 VH. Here's Ian Taylor's 1931 VF.

2 years ago I believe I had my 31 VF & 53 VHA there with Steve Bell's W/NG under my large Ariel banner.
It was also a scorcher of a day If I remember correctly.
Good to have met Stan this year, small world isn't.
Location was Paris ,Ontario Canada .The Annual CVMG National Rally
