First job at a Police Station, just outside the boiler house is this poor scooter. Seen better days, I wonder if its being used for target practice :D Police have permission now to knock scotter thieves from their mounts

I then had to make a dash up to Chertsea Sewerage works. This time the pipework is carrying steam from a temporary boiler house. Very nice as my hands had got a bit cold.

I must have been using my elastic tape measure again as two of my mats didn't fit!! Fortunately the job was only in Southampton but got there early so had a walk around the park. This in the park is a memorial to the Titanic

Must be Vincent.

Winding down for Christmas so not much to do. I did though have a trip up to Wisley near Guildford to fit a few bits I'd missed from my measure a couple of weeks ago. A nice ride in the dry there and back. I was fortunate with the weather today as the afternoon was forcast for heavy rain. Which brings me to a Christmas project. My Gates!!

I've a pair of garage type doors at home that are driving me nuts. They swell up so much in the damp I just can't close them at all. So its time for new ones. This time its having a metal frame with the wood inside. That should cure my problem.
My local timber merchants are very friendly, will happily cut it up for me and even provide me with undercover parking although I did give them a slight fright as the Huntmaster rode in :D

I've got my new gates up so its Ariel time.

First job is to fix my swinging arm bushes. Getting the arm out itself is the tricky bit, its like a rubrik cube type puzzel. Everything has to be at the right angle and then it pops out.

My other job to do are the taper needle bearings in my steering head. They are staring to feel notchy again. I'm wondering if the extra weight of my fairing is causing these not to last. Im going back to ball bearing.
