Just a local trip up to Basingstoke yesterday, we've made some covers to go on a backup generator but got soaked in oil and caught fire. Opps. They need new ones.
Had a moment though on the way home. The motorway north of Winchester has just two lanes, overtaking 3 lorries the middle one decides to overtake the front one. I'm now alongside the rear lorry who desides to overtake as well. Thats the moment.
I squeezed over to my right and could just leave room for him when he reaslised his mistake and moved back. If I'd been in a car there would not have been room.
Then yesterday evening was Hampshire club night. A great bunch of lads. Great night.

I use one of these to oil my cables.
Just tighten up, fill with oil and screw down the plunger. It soon finds it way through the cable and putthe other end.

Then whilst mytank was off I checked my tappets. Just a little out.

Just a little job then a few miles from home. The bike felt faster with a unstuck throttle.

I had a few covers to fit on a pump.

Perfect day for a ride. My 27 is not running very well. Its all over the place when its slow running but as I open her up she goes well. I suspect theres something not right with the carb. Still I enjoyed my ride, realy lovely scone and tea in Hambledon with my mate Alan with his Wng.

Took my WNG out today and had a similar thing. Seems the float needle is sticking so flooding unless its revving.

I was lucky this morning, I escaped an induction at an Animal health laboratory in Pirbright. The woman at reception remembered me and said I didn't need one. Great. As the one I remembered doing there last year was particularly painfull :D
Then this afternoon my second job was on a landing craft being built near southampton. It looks like the ferry that goes to Bere island. Sorry boring photo :D

Signing out as I left I saw this huge ships light on office the floor. Apparently it was on Colonel Gadaffi's yacht, well thats what I was told.

Another chilly day, First job back up in Basingstoke then off to Esher. Nice church next to the library I was working at.

Now I'm having tea and toast near Chertsea and I've found a table next to a radiator. Bliss
