Models E and F had the same cam timing - 5,55,60,20.
Quite similar to the sidevalve cam 5,50,55,20 (maybe same profile, different lifters..)
Model G 22,70,70,25.
The cam that was used in LG, NG and VG models through the 30's and 40's and w/ng has 5,55,60,20 timing. I think this is the F cam profile.
The red hunter cams for the 30's - and 40's sidevalves are 22, 70, 70, 25 - I think the A6 664 profile
On this basis, your original cam profile would be similar to this image that I have borrowed from Google.
The F cam profile is very torquey, but lacks much go at higher revs. The motor sounds more urgent, but speed stays about the same.
Is this the cam you have?
