I think it's a honest advert.

The 4 valve heads tend to brake between valves and you won't vind a replacemend.

A 1933 4-Valve Red Hunter does not exist. This is a 1933 (or 1934,1935) bike with a transplanted 4-Valve engine from the earlier (very different) model 1932. I am not sure if this is a VH32 (Red Hunter) or a VG32 engine. I must see the top of the cylinder head to check.

@ Adrie, there is an upright 4 valve head here in Holland if you need it.

Also here a barrel and crankcases.

I have seen a picture of a VH 4 valve head with a centre hole in it with a big crack which apparently differentiates if from a VG head (not the crack, the hole). This may be a stupid question but what is the centre hole for? Cheers, John

Usually for the spark plug. Centrally situated plug reduces the advance needed, and the motor runs cooler and develops more power. Nev
