optional foot change for Burman Q box

Do members have further details/pictures of the optional foot change mechanism that was available for the Burman Q box. I enclose a picture of the device

The universal type joint at the back in the picture connects to the gearbox in place if the rod to the rank.

It's some years since I had my model G but when I got it there was a foot change fitted which I replaced with a hand change. The foot change worked quite well from what I remember. I'm not sure that they are exciting enough to convert a bike to with all the money and effort required and they are very rare.

Dave bought the G Special from me. I did many miles on it (including a couple of Irish rallies) mwhen it had the foot change conversion and found it a lot easier than the hand change. I remember that someone, I think it was Con Money, converted a 4 speed hand change on a Cammy by using the stop mechanism from a CP box. As you can see it is very similar. I have often wondered if it could be used on 3 speed box.

This foot change was original on Ariel VH32 with 3-speed Burman (TUBD I guess).
